Born in 1981 in Schwabmünchen, grown up in Berlin and now living there again.

My first contact with airbrush was in 1992, when I got a set for my birthday, right as desired. Attempts to realize the exercises from the enclosed book, provided only manageable successes. The device therefore disappeared in the corner for longer. As part of a Formula 1 race in 1997 at the Nürburgring, I was able to watch the fingers of an airbrusher, who sprayed quite simple motifs on mobile phones. Stuck by those impressions, at home I instantly started trying to do what I saw myself. The fun was born again and so all of a sudden all classmates had airbrush designs on their calculators. The motifs remained very simple, and due to lack of technique and control I mostly worked with templates and the level stagnated for a long time.

I would never have dared to take a sheet of white paper or a photographed reference. Simply, because I had no idea how to do that. The airbrush was taken only sporadically for model making or smaller works for friends.

In 2013, ambition grabbed me after I had more to do with my old school friend Marcus Eisenhuth. He showed me what is possible with an airbrush and has fully resparked fire thought already extinct for long. I learn every day and always wonder how structures can be realized in a picture when looking at structures. A great hobby with always new challenges and unlimited fun!
